About
Maria João Antunes is a professor in the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She received her Ph.D. in Sciences and Technologies of Communication (2007), and a degree in New Communication Technologies (1998) from the University of Aveiro. Her research interests focus on the relationship between new information and communication technologies, social networks, and the urban environment.
